Run around Silverdale in your jammies and become a bedtime hero to a kid who sleeps on the ground in one of the poorest places in the world. It’s going to be a ton of fun to make a world of difference to some very real, very deserving kids in Uganda. CFH is taking care of school fees, but they still go home to a house with no place to sleep. Often, nobody else in the family has a bed either. Maybe a mat, maybe nothing but dirt under the grass or tin roof of their home. It only takes about $100 to buy a bed frame, mattress, sheets and blankets. We’re aiming to support 20 families with about 50 beds. These families have already taken in their own orphaned relative(s) and squeezed in one more person and one more mouth to feed in their tiny and destitute home. Blessing their generosity and helping these families stay together to take care of their own is the entire goal of the CFH-Family Preservation Project. And there couldn’t be a more fun way to support it than this!
Form a team, bring your own family or kids, or walk alone in your slippers with the rest of us! Gather pledges and see who can raise the most money! Run it, walk it, or sleep walk it! Just come and have some fun making a difference and changing the future for an orphaned child, and their family who has taken them in.
